occ Onion Creek Band and Onion Creek Cloggers

The Onion Creek Band and Onion Creek Cloggers present occasional dances at the Community Building on the 4-H Fairgrounds at the south end of West 1st Street, Nevada, Iowa. Potluck supper at 6:00 pm; Barn Dance 7:00-10:00 pm.

Contras, squares, circles, waltzes, polkas... all taught and called. Children and families welcome. Bring your instrument, join the band.

OCC -- a performing group since 1977, hosts of community dances since February, 1983, meets every Sunday to play music and dance. Old-time, flat-foot style clogging.

7:00-10:00 pm at the Jasper County Community Center, 2407 First Avenue East.

Admission $5, family maximum $20, babies and toddlers free admission.

Acoustic musicians are welcome to join the band off-mike.

Steps taught at 7:30, dancing at 8:00.
